As the lifts begin to spin, we close the books on the “early season”. And what an early season! The past week would have been great by mid-winter standards. This morning we were even able to get some great gladed turns,  let’s keep in mind that its only November 15th

This week started off with a surprise foot of fluffy pow. Making Monday for the first powder day of the season!

I would have happily taken a nice early season pow day, but the next morning we awoke to another 6-8 inches of fluff!

But the best was yet to come. When we arrived in the parking lot Wednesday morning, there was another 5-6 inches of the fluffiest snow you could imagine!

We couldn’t resist coming back that night. We were rewarded with one of the better runs of our lives!

It’s been an amazing week! 15 days – almost 40k vert, and all before the westward migration.

Here’s a quick video from Wednesday’s double header dawn and dusk patrol!
