VIDEO: Snowboarders Rescued from Kicking Horse, B.C. Gondola by Helicopter

It seems a bit extreme to rescue people in a gondola by helicopter, but that is just what they did at Kicking Horse, B.C. on Sunday after a power outage shut the gondola down.

Approximately 75 people were rescued from the gondola.

In this video, the snowboarders thank the rescuers for the “kickass ride.”
