Did his helmet help him at all here? No it didn’t.
Ski helmets don’t provide any benefit when you hit your face on a tree. In general, hitting trees causing internal injuries (i.e., Sonny Bono or Robert Kennedy) not head injuries.
Why do authors try to indicate some level of user responsibility by the use of a helmet?
