VIDEO: Ripping DEEP Powder at Jay Peak, VT Yesterday

As deep as it gets for this time of year at Jay Peak yesterday.  A crew headed up to the summit and ripped down in deep pow and fallen fall leaves and obviously had a blast.

This is a quintessentially East Coast experience.  It appears that the runs are just pure grass and soft dirt out there, no rocks, which makes for fun skiing even if there’s only a few inches on the ground.

Jay Peak records the most snow of any east coast ski resort and averages over 300″ of snowfall per year.
