Climber Lewis Muir filmed this insane rockslide on Mont Blanc on Monday that narrowly missed a group of climbers below.

The rockslide occurred on the The Cosmiques Arete on the Aiguille du Midi, an extremely popular alpine climb from Chamonix, France.

The incident affirms why routes on the mountain have been closed and why the Matterhorn is closed. Rising temperatures are causing glaciers to melt resulting in unstable and dangerous conditions.
