GoPro has announced the Overall “Line of the Winter” winners for the 2024–25 season, awarding $10,000 each to four standout athletes in skiing and snowboarding. These season-long awards follow monthly contests, with the winners of April’s contest announced just a few days ago.

Men’s Ski: Craig Murray
The 27‑year‑old New Zealander, who gained fame on the Freeride World Tour, takes home the season’s top honor after a year of standout lines and creative filmmaking. Known for his podiums at venues like Kicking Horse, British Columbia, and Vallnord–Arcalís, Andorra, Murray continues to push the sport with his smooth style, technical precision, and passion for making big-mountain skiing more accessible.

Women’s Ski: Justine Dufour-Lapointe
An Olympic mogul skiing medalist turned freeride athlete, the Canadian skier added another career milestone by claiming the women’s ski title. Her transition to backcountry lines has been nothing short of impressive, blending technical finesse with bold new terrain choices. Her winning run wowed judges with its fluidity and risk.

Men’s Snowboard: Che Contreras
The up-and-coming snowboarder made waves with a line that perfectly combined aggressive freeriding with playful creativity. Contreras, whose style reflects the next generation of all-mountain riding, stood out for his clean execution and fearless approach to natural features.

Women’s Snowboard: Marissa Krawczak
A veteran backcountry snowboarder and environmental advocate, Krawczak’s winning submission showcased her powerful, smooth riding through big terrain. Her experience in both filming and competing helped craft a standout line that blended technical riding with striking visuals.

Each of these riders earns $10,000 for their season-winning footage—a testament to the evolving creativity, athleticism, and production quality shaping the future of freeride content.
