“Six people were killed and one was wounded in an avalanche at the Cheget ski resort in the southern republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, Friday.
The snow slide reportedly swept through the northern hillslope of the Cheget mountain, where skiing is banned, while burying the six victims.
Rescue teams were deployed to the area along with air medical service helicopters.” – Ruptly TV
It appears these skiers and riders triggered the avalanche themselves just outside the boundaries of the ski resort.
