On March 31st, 2021, Valentino Guseli landed the highest halfpipe air ever officially measured in snowboarding history.
With 7.3m (24ft), he put up a new world record.
Before him, the world record was held by Shaun White with 7m (23ft) and was set at Winter X Games 14 in Aspen, CO, on 30 January 2010.
Valentino is a 15-year-old snowboarder from Australia and is spending most of his season here in LAAX. His amplitude in the pipe is almost unseen in snowboarding.
