Truckee, CA, is currently experiencing its most prolonged consecutive days without measurable precipitation during meteorological winter since 1990, reports The Sierra Sun. As of today, it has been 34-days.

The old record may be beaten with no precipitation in the forecast for at least the next couple of weeks.
