“Awesome pow day at Treble Cone on Monday, September 11th. 60cms of new snow in the last few days and the Saddle Basin never opened on Sunday. Best snow of the day was in the Motatapu Chutes. The saddle had a bit of a crust on top, so it wasn’t as dreamy as I’d hoped, but the Main Basin had some great wind blown chalky lines all day long. Great to have winter skiing back now that spring has sprung in New Zealand.” – Yimmers, yesterday
