Many of us wonder how many people visit a ski resort in a given day, week, month, or year.  Most ski resorts hide this information if they can.  But there is a French ski tourism consultant named Laurent Vanat who claims to know.  He released a report in showing the most visited ski resorts on Earth.  His report is called the 2014 International Report on Snow and Mountain Tourism.  It’s a thick read, but there are some good ski resort data in there.

Would be interesting to see the ski areas with the LEAST number of skier visits. Cross referenced with number of lifts and vertical feet. Could make for a way better trip than dropping into the Vail/Breck circus.
