It was a crisp cold start to the morning at A-basin, but there was a bit of new snow overnight and the sky was clear and waiting for the sun to come up over the mountains.

We aimed straight for the top, taking Black Mountain Express, to Lenawee. At the summit, the sun was in full force and the snow was great packed powder.

We spent the better part of the morning lapping the fast and edgeable groomers and skiing the soft natural snow on West-Wall.

As we headed home over Loveland Pass, we could see the clouds rolling in and the snow starting back up to refresh for tomorrow.
