Conditions report:
Squaw Valley
As of today, there were three lifts open: RedDog, Squaw Creek and Far East.
Snow was good, not icy, even in the early morning. And you can also find some powder!
If you ski on Lake View run (Squaw Creek lift), just go slightly right and you can enjoy the powder.
Here are the runs open so far: Lake View, Dog Leg, Red Dog Face, Champs Elysees.
The Upper mountain is still closed. As per ski patrol, there is some water issue on the Upper Mountain, they are still fixing it. Hopefully, it will be open on Monday. (or may be even Sunday!)
As per ski patrol, the Upper mountains is in very good conditions, so be patient 🙂 It will be open soon!
Alpine Meadows
There was only one lift open today, November 25th: Kangaroo (not counting magic carpet). Snow is very good and soft. Will be even better after the most anticipated storm, which is expected to come tomorrow evening.
The resort is doing a lot of snowmaking and at least Roundhouse is expected to be open tomorrow.
Grab you skis/snowboards and come to Squaw Valley/ Alpine Meadows and spend great time outdoors! Conditions are awesome and more lifts/trails to open tomorrow!
Not a mention or post about the POWER OUTAGE botch?

You must have been there as the photo has your name on it, but the 3rd lift running is Far East -not Far West. It’s almost as steep as Olympic Lady, the steepest lift at Squaw, if the numbers at liftblog.com are correct. It’s also a good place to park if you have a pass.
You’re right, thanks! Somehow i mixed it with Far West league. (I rarely use it though..)
