You’ve likely heard about the big storm hitting California right now.ย  It’s real.

It showed up last night and dropped 7″ overnight.

Winds blew up to 135mph today on the ridgetops.

It was windy and snowing hard all day at Squaw today.

Red Dog, Squaw Creek, and Far East chairs were open.

Off piste is still mostly a bit too thin to ski confidently but the regular runs were damn fun.

We poked off piste into some powder patches here and there, though, and they were deep and fun.

Tomorrow should be wildly good.
