Silverton Mountain in Colorado got 18″ of fresh snow on Friday, Jan. 10th, 2014. Â Snow stays in Silverton for 3 reasons:
1. Â Not many people ski there.
2. Â You have to hike for your turns.
3. Â It’s damn cold at Silverton.
Thus, this snow will certainly last through the week. Â If you’re in the Silverton area, it’s time to get up to the hill and go skiing.
