Revo, the global leader in high-quality performance sunglasses, announces today the launch of a new sunglass style developed in collaboration with Revo ski ambassador, Italian World Cup alpine ski racer, Marta Bassino. To celebrate the launch, Revo and Marta Bassino will be hosting a press conference and autograph signing event at 5:00 p.m. on January 26 at the Hotel de la Poste in Cortina D’Ampezz, Italy. From January 26-28, Cortina will host three speed events of the FIS Alpine World Cup, two Downhill and one Super-G race, in which Bassino will be competing.
Marta Bassino has rapidly ascended to the pinnacle of her sport since making her World Cup debut in March 2014 at the age of 18. With an impressive track record that includes five World Cup victories, a Giant Slalom World Cup, a World title, and an impressive 21 podium finishes in the World Cup, Bassino has solidified her standing among the elite. At just 27 years old, she continues to leave an indelible mark on the alpine skiing scene, consistently showcasing her prowess on slopes across Europe.

The Cortina Audi FIS Ski World Cup 2024 races will take place from Friday, January 26, to Sunday, January 28: on Friday, there will be a Downhill race, on Saturday, another Downhill, and on Sunday, a Super-G. As for the FIS Para Alpine Ski World Cup, there will be two Super-G races on January 30 and 31, and two Slalom races on February 1 and 2.
