We just got a conditions report from Penitentes ski resort in Argentina. Â Pentitentes is located near Mendoza, Argentina on the highway with the the tall pass to Chile. Â Penitentes is simple, very steep, and has stupendous backcountry access. Â This place is legit. Â The backcountry is truly insane. Â
If Penitentes gets a good season, this is where you wanna be, unless you don’t like steeps.

I ski in penitentes yesterday, was wind blowed snow but dry and tecnical. Fun!
