Report from March 4, 2023
Brought to you by Palisades Tahoe
Yesterday was the strongest wind we can ever remember skiing inbounds.
Thanks to Palisades Tahoe Pro Ski Patrol for getting lifts open and keeping us safe.
Yesterday was so damn fun.
The wind was a rush and the skiing was hot and fast!
Palisades has now already seen 554″ of snowfall this season.
We showed up at 2:15pm (after things had filled in a bit) and did nothing but smile until 4pm while skiing with good friends.
KT-22 closed due to the wind at about 2:40pm then Red Dog was too much fun.
We had an incredible, impromptu apres ski with 14 old friends including Hossein and Shirin from the Cal Ski Team who we hadn’t seen in 10 years!
We also broke 100K followers on Instagram yesterday.
Thank you! If you haven’t been to our main channel, plz cruise over and have a look: SnowBrains.com.
Thank you all, it’s been an honor
It’s Squaw Valley it will always be Squaw Valley
Congratulations on breaking 100K. I love this site! BUT if 25mph is the most wind you’ve ridden you’ve got to come storm riding at Mount Hood Meadows! Come ride the gnar in Oregon!
Thank you, Emily! Yes, I’m down, let’s get wind blasted in Oregonia! I did my first season ever in Mt. Bachelor in 96/97 and I still have wind burn!
