Whoa. We used the word Monster way too early. If Whistler’s storm is a monster. Mt. Baker’s storm is the Devil himself.
Mt. Baker proper is forecasted to receive 155 inches or 13 FEET in the next 4 days…
The true summit of the true Mt. Baker in Washington State, USA at 10,070-feet is about to get 155 inches or 13 FEET between now and Tuesday. Simply silly.

Mt Baker ski area is not receiving 13′ of snow this week. Mt Baker, the active volcano at 10,000+ feet above sea level will get a boat load of wet snow this week, which is very typical. The ski area is tops out at 5000′, may get some snow this week, but not 13 feet.
No misinformation. It’s clearly stated in the article that this forecast is for the summit of 10,070-foot Mt. Baker. True, the ski resort is going to get mostly rain. But, it’s very cool, nonetheless, that Mt. Baker is getting 13 feet of snow in 4 days in September.
Hey Bill- some people like to ski places that aren’t ski resorts. So, Mt. Baker (the volcano pictured above) and Mt. Shuksan (the other volcano, not pictured above) getting a shitload of snow in September is great news for people who love snow.
Now, by all means, correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think Mt. Baker (the volcano) typically gets 10 feet plus of snow in September.
Not actually legit. This looks like the forecast for the summit of mt. baker, not the ski area. Ski area may get 25-50″ of snow at elevation 4,000 ft
