Chris, We are already MAXXED on snowfall in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Neither Alta nor Snowbird nor the Road have opened on Tuesday or Wednesday. As you know the Avalanche Danger is rated at extreme at all elevations. Loose talk about how great the “powder skiing” is going to be overlooks the fact that the area has received 5-6″ of SWE in the last week on top of a persistent weak layer. Please be patient people. Sometimes more is not better.
