Mount Bohemia, or Boho to some, recently announced exciting news of additional terrain and installing lights for night skiing. Also, a new on-mountain yurt will be built, complementing the other fantastic changes.

Instagram posts this month have shared the announcements, starting with the addition of lights to increase night skiing capabilities. With this, skiers and snowboarders can enjoy making turns under the stars down Claim Jumper on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Following the first post, Mount Bohemia’s Instagram explained that a new yurt is being built adjacent to the current dwellings. These ski-in ski-out yurts on the other side of Claim Jumper provide occupants with a bed, bathroom, shower, and sink. Not to mention, they are all located just a quick stroll from the Nordic Spa.
Lastly, great news continued in a third Instagram post detailing the addition of two new glade runs. One run will be located between Blackhole and Asteroid, and the second on the other side of Pica Pau. The process will include clearing undergrowth and some trees to help open up the area.
Mount Bohemia boasts 273 inches of annual snowfall and 900 feet of vertical drop over almost 600 acres of skiable terrain. Known for fantastic powder and completely un-groomed, expert skiing (two things unusual to typical mid-west skiing), Boho offers a truly one-of-a-kind experience that will make you forget you are skiing in Michigan.
