On Sunday we rode up the lifts to the very top of the Monterosa ski resort in Alagna, Italy.
We then traversed and skinned to a spicy chute with a no fall zone entrance.

The zone was steep, the snow was soft, and I had the fear.
We all made it through the no fall zone, then relaxed.

We were looking down upon powder snow in a gorgeous chute down to a big open bowl down to a large glacier to a long gully.
The chute up top held perfect powder snow.

The rest of the run held corn and slush of varying depths and viscosities.
This was a epic run with a strong crew.

Thanks again to Alagna, Monterosa ski resort, and the Alagna Rat Pack.
Enormous thanks to Intuition Liners for making this trip happen.

I was there a long time ago and want to go there again being also driven by your report. How did you plan your skiing? Any local advice? Any special maps?
