Miles Clark’s 2014 Japan Highlight Video:

Miles Clark

This winter was a good winter in Japan because it didn’t snow. ย Don’t get me wrong, it’s Japan, so it snowed enough, but it didn’t snow like usual and there were a lot more sunny days.

Sunny days led to stability in the snowpack and the ability to get up high onto terrain we’d never skied before. ย The terrain was gorgeousย and the times were memorable.

Japan is the land of endless deep powder storm skiing in the forests, and that’s great. ย But, when the weather allows you to get up high on some real terrain, well, that’s even greater.

I wish we had some real footage of this zone. ย All I can offer for now is this POV. ย All the footage in this video is from the exotic Japanese Isle of Honshu.
