Ten years ago, on January 19th, 2012, the skiing world lost Canadian freeskier,ย Sarah Burke. ย Sarah received an injury to the back of her head and neck while training in the halfpipe at Park City ski resort in Utah. ย Sarah’s death was devastating for the ski world.

Sarah was a champion, tried and true, with 4 X Games gold medals, two Dew Tour golds, and a FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships gold medal. ย All these golds were in the halfpipe.

Sarah was a major inspiration to skiers everywhere. ย Thank you, Sarah.
