Lindsey Vonn fractured a bone in her ankle on Thursday while training at Wakatipu Basin near Queenstown, New Zealand.

“Unfortunately I crashed today and have a small fracture in my ankle. Headed home now but will keep u posted #minorsetback #cantslowmedown.” – Lindsey Vonn via twitter

Lindsey Vonn tore the same right ACL twice in the past 3 years.  She has not said which ankle is broken.

Lindsey Vonn is the winningest female ski racer in history with 33 downhill victories, 24 in the super-Gs, three giant slaloms, two slaloms and five alpine skiing combined races in her career.

Lindsey has said that she plans to compete in the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
