Yesterday we hiked up and skied down lakeside and the views were spectacular.

We got out early under blue skies, zero wind, and an eerily calm Lake Tahoe.

The climb up was steep but quick.

The first run was rad with a powder pillow festival in the sun followed by a steep, spiney run down to the lake.

We went back up for another run to another peak and had a cruisy powder run back to the car.

The snow is still spectacularly good out there.

This was a big day with 4,300-vertical-feet and 8-miles of travel.

Lake Tahoe in powder is tough to beat!
