Report from February 26th, 2019
Last night, Lake Tahoe saw 22″ of snow in 24 hours.
Today, Squaw Valley was completely closed and Alpine Meadows only had baby lifts open due to high winds and avalanche danger.
So, we went backcountry skiing.
Mini-backcountry skiing in mellow terrain.
The snow was heavy and wet and upside down, but skied great.
We really tried not to, but we ended up having a damn good time.
