Jackson Hole, WY Report: No Lines, Good Times

Miles Clark

Report from January 11, 2021

I rolled up to Jackson Hole at 1pm yesterday under clearing skies and cold temps.

It was about 0ºF in the valley in the morning but in the teens up high – the typical mid-winter inversion here.

I was looking for a cruisy, groomery, happy afternoon and that’s just what I found out there.

There were no lines on any of the lifts so I just started cycling through them:  Teewinot, Apres Vous, Teton, Thunder, Sublette.

Since there was no one around, the groomers were still flat and smooth at 1pm.

I zipped around, smiled, enjoyed the fresh air in my lungs and sun on my face.

This place is gorgeous.

After I got my fill I zipped home with a bubbling contentment that lasted all evening.

Thanks, Jackson!
