Wyoming’s Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) is ready to kick off another legendary summer season, rolling out a stacked lineup of activities starting June 7. The Bridger Gondola will begin spinning for scenic rides, and the Jackson Hole Bike Park—widely regarded as the Tetons’ premier mountain biking playground—will open its trails for riders of all abilities.
Aerial Tram Already Open, More Activities on Deck
The iconic Aerial Tram is already up and running for the season, whisking guests 4,139 vertical feet to the summit of Rendezvous Mountain. From the top, visitors score jaw-dropping 360-degree views, access to the Grand Teton Skywalk, and a sprawling network of hiking trails that reach into both Bridger-Teton National Forest and Grand Teton National Park. The tram operates daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through October 8.
Bridger Gondola Evening Rides and New Activities Coming Soon
Evening sightseeing on the Bridger Gondola kicks off June 8, offering sunset views high above the valley. The summer adventure ramps up even more on June 14, when JHMR opens its Via Ferrata climbing experience, bungee trampoline, climbing wall, and aerial ropes course, giving thrill-seekers and families plenty to explore.

Jackson Hole Bike Park: Trails for Every Rider
Starting Saturday, June 7, the Jackson Hole Bike Park welcomes mountain bikers back to some of the region’s most exciting terrain. With trails ranging from beginner-friendly flow to advanced jump lines, plus adaptive trails and pump tracks, the park lives up to its “playground for every rider” reputation. Trails off the Teewinot lift will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning June 7. Sweetwater lift terrain will be limited June 7–8, with a full opening for both lifts set for June 13.
JHMR also offers bike rentals, youth bike camps, private guides, and adaptive mountain biking programs. Riders can grab individual tickets or season passes for the Bike Park online.
Dining with a View
A variety of dining options come online June 7, including the Tram Dock Bar and Kitchen (11:30 a.m.–6 p.m. daily) and the Tin Can Cantina at the base of the Bridger Gondola (11 a.m.–5 p.m. daily). The Off-Piste Market at the top of the Bridger Gondola serves up epic views, espresso, waffles, pizza, and grab-and-go snacks from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Deck at Rendezvous Lodge opens June 8 for daytime and evening service (evenings from 4–8 p.m., Sunday through Thursday). Corbet’s Cabin at the summit of the Aerial Tram—famous for its waffles and ranked among North America’s best ski restaurants—is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Piste Mountain Bistro will begin dinner service June 15.
Pro Tips for Early Summer Visits
Early season conditions persist, so guests should come prepared for variable mountain weather. Backcountry skiing remains possible via gates near the Aerial Tram summit, but skiing within the resort boundary is closed for the season, and no ski patrol is on duty. Guests with ski gear may load the tram, but not the gondolas.
JHMR’s Summer Promise
“This weekend marks the official return of summer to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, and we are thrilled to welcome guests back for another wonderful season. Summer at the Resort never disappoints, be it sightseeing off the Aerial Tram or Bridger Gondola, hiking, biking, climbing on the Via Ferrata, or visiting all the different dining and shopping options available. There truly is something for every guest to experience and enjoy,” said Ned Wonson, Vice President of Marketing at JHMR.
