All of the photos in this post are from our friends at Hakuba Mountain Life. ย These guys live, eat, and breath Hakuba. ย If you wanna keep an eye on Hakuba, Japan, we recommend following them on Facebook.

Yes, Hakuba is the place in Japan with the big, nasty mountains. ย The place where Jeremy Jones spent a month in his movie โ€œFurther.โ€ ย Jeremy doesnโ€™t go places that suck. ย Period.

Hakuba is one helluva place to ski because it has the lull-you-to-sleep mellow tree skiing that will all love juxtaposed against some of the gnarliest mountains youโ€™ve ever seen.

And yes, you should go there this year.
