After a triple-whammy of storm systems dropped over 56 inches of fresh powder on the mountain this holiday (as of Jan. 6), snow conditions at Diamond Peak Ski Resort in North Lake Tahoe could not be better. And there’s even more fresh snow in the forecast.
Known as a “hidden gem” by locals in Incline Village, Diamond Peak offers 1,840 vertical feet of steep groomers, mellow cruisers, and some of the Tahoe Basin’s best tree skiing.
Explore some of the 13 named glade zones and find untracked lines in Solitude Canyon and off the Crystal Ridge; plus, there’s never a long lift line at the Crystal Express high-speed quad that takes you to the goods.
Pro Tip: When your legs get tired, stop at the mid-mountain Snowflake Lodge for an après-ski beverage during Early Happy Hour from 2 – 3:30 p.m.
