Copper Mountain, Colorado, received some fresh snow for Christmas, with six inches of snow falling over the last 48 hours. So far this month the resort has seen 41 inches of snowfall.
At Copper Mountain, 79 out of 157 trails are now open and 16 out of 23 lifts are spinning, giving access to 857 acres of skiing or 36% of the resort’s terrain.
New Year’s Eve
The free New Year’s event at Copper Mountain Resort will be celebrated at Eagle’s Landing. Take your last laps of the year on the slopes before celebrating the New Year with a DJ set, torchlight parade, fireworks, dinner and drinks, and more. It all takes place at Eagle’s Landing in Copper’s Center Village. DJ, torchlight parade, fireworks are all free to spectate.
