This winter hasn’t been the kindest to Colorado, in fact, I reckon some resorts will be happy to see the back of it!

So, as spring gets underway, Coloradoโ€™s resorts are starting to shut down for the summer. Some resorts are closing earlier than you might have thought, whereas others, such as the higher Loveland and A-Basin, usually stay open as long as possible, often into July.

Hereโ€™s a list of which resorts are officially closing when, arranged by date. A decent April though, and some of these could be subject to change… fingers crossed.

  • April 15:ย Aspen Mountain, Beaver Creek, Copper Mountain, Echo Mountain, Eldora, Purgatory, Snowmass, Steamboat, and Vail
  • April 22:ย Breckenridge and Winter Park Resort
