American-gone-feral Nate Wallace has already been skiing in Chamonix, France. He’s been riding the Auguille du Midi and skiing down the Mer de Glace (sea of ice) glacier. The skiing involves mostly mellow pow &sun-cooked-pow down a gentle glacier… but it goes on for miles and miles.
It’s a heck of a lot better than the skiing most of us have done so far this season and it’s gorgeous.
If you haven’t skied in Chamonix yet, it’s time. It’s a pilgrimage. If you’re a big skier or snowboarder, you have to get to Cham at least once. Just don’t forget to hire a guide…
