If you still have an itch to get some turns in, head to California because you’ve still got plenty of time to ski. Multiple resorts are expected to stay open until or even past the 4th of July. That’s right, you still have well over 2.5 months of skiing left. Record precipitation totalsย have left the Sierra buried in snow. As the snow begins to melt, skiers will enjoy some incredible spring skiing conditions. Get out there and have some fun on the mountain.
Closing Dates For California Ski Resorts:
Mammoth Mountain: 4th of July
Squaw Valley: 4th of July
Sugar Bowl: TBD
Alpine Meadows: TBD
Mt. Rose, NV: 5/29
Heavenly: 4/30

remind me, why does Kirkwood close with 30 + feet of snow? Is their following so meager? that area never ceases to amaze! aside from the rant, I do want to know.
