This April, Andermatt, Switzerland, will come alive with the highly anticipated debut of High Peak Festival, a two-day celebration April 11-12, 2025 that will blend electrifying music, cutting-edge culture, and alpine adventure at the foot of the majestic Swiss Alps. Featuring a powerhouse lineup with Busta Rhymes, Timbaland, Eve, Xzibit, M.O.P, Kool Savas, Gentleman Soundsystem, and more, this new festival promises to be an unforgettable experience in one of the world’s most stunning destinations.

The festival’s centerpiece will be live performances under a custom-built main tent, but the excitement doesn’t stop there: attendees will be immersed in breaking showcases, vibrant street art, and culinary delights all against the jaw-dropping backdrop of Gemsstock Mountain. Plus, festivalgoers will get exclusive discounts on ski passes, making it easy to transition from the stage to the slopes for some spring snow adventures. Tickets start at just CHF 202.50.
The Vision Behind High Peak Festival
Created by Thomas “TJ” Preisler, a former East German snowboard pro turned renowned music industry leader, the High Peak Festival is the culmination of his two passions: hip-hop and the mountains. From his early days booking for the legendary Splash Festival to managing tours for icons like 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, and Wu-Tang Clan, Thomas has had a lifelong connection to hip-hop culture. Now living in Andermatt, he’s bringing his vast experience and love for the Swiss Alps together for this unique celebration.
Andermatt: From Hidden Gem to Global Hotspot
Once a quiet military outpost, Andermatt has undergone a stunning transformation, thanks to a $1.2 billion investment by Egyptian developer Samih Sawiris. Today, the town is home to luxury resorts like The Chedi Andermatt, Michelin-starred dining, world-class ski slopes, and après-ski vibes that draw visitors from around the world. Recently acquired by Vail Resorts, Andermatt is quickly becoming one of Europe’s must-visit destinations.
