Green Mountain

Crowds at ski resorts always take away from the overall experience. Long lift lines, crowded slopes, and traffic are all things that skiers try to stay away from. Green Mountain is the complete opposite of that. It has 1,200 vertical feet of ski trails only accessible by your very own heated snowcat. The mountain first opened up in April of 2018 and operates with three-heated snowcats, personal guide tours, and ski patrol.

If you’re interested in even more exclusivity or a once-in-a-lifetime experience, guests have the option of renting the mountain for the day for only themselves and an intimate group of 16.

It is an experience that few skiers ever get a chance to do, and some have never heard of it before. Brush Creek Ranch offers a truly ultra-private resort that you do not have to be a member of to enjoy. Matt Anderson, the Senior Director of Operations & Recreation at Brush Creek Ranch, stated that guests are amazed at what the ranch offers. “How did I not know about this place until now?” Anderson asked himself in an interview with SnowBrains regarding guests’ reactions to their first trip to the ranch.

  • โ€œ30,000 acres of wildernessโ€ when they mean that the ranch is 30k acres, and ranches are not wilderness. And nothing about that โ€œ7,600โ€™ of elevation changeโ€ makes sense.
