A graphic issued by the National Park Service hopes to educate people on where’s best to pet the fluffy bison in their parks. A recent spate of people being tossed an gored by the animals, and videos of tourists petting them, prompted the PSA.

In all seriousness, the message is DON’T! Nothing good can come from getting close to a wild animal.

“It’s not a petting zoo,” said Kathy Kupper, a spokesperson for the Park Service. “It’s a national park, and they’re in their natural state. They are wildlife. They’re a 2,000-pound animal with horns, no matter how docile they look.”
