Beartooth Basin Summer Ski Resort, MT/WY Will Not Open for 2nd Summer in a Row:

Beartooth Basin summer only ski resort will not open this season due to a lack of snow for the 2nd season in a row.

Sad news because Beartooth Basin is very cool.  It’s a summer only ski resort near Red Lodge, MT and the ski resort is just over the border in Wyoming.

Beartooth has freeride terrain, moguls, race courses, and a terrain park.

On a good year, they open up in May and stay open deep into July.

Better luck next year.  Our fingers are crossed.
