It’s true: Beartooth Basin summer only ski resort is closed for the season. Kinda sad, but still great that we have a summer only ski resort in North America.
Beartooth Basin, MT/WY opened this year on May 24th, 2014 and they stayed open until July 6th, 2014. That means they were open for an incredible 45 days this year. Well, a few less we suppose, as that big snowstorm they got in June shut down the road for a couple days.
That said, that’s rad that Beartooth had a few powder days this summer. Beartooth also got about 150% of normal snowfall during the 2013/14 winter giving them a solid base to work with.
