Terrifying footage here, taken from two angles, of a man skiing what appears to be a fairly mellow zone before triggering a huge avalanche.
The avalanche carries him down the slope before he is able to inflate his airbag and keep his head above the snow.
Not sure about the outcome, but when the video cuts out you can see his airbag above the snow. Lucky escape for sure…
