Lake Tahoe Ski Resort Snow Totals This Morning: Up to 8″ of Snow Tahoe got a late season storm that is a bit late as at this point, most of the ski resorts in Lake Tahoe are closed. Japanese Surfer Dies in Shark Attack in Australia Yesterday: A 41-year old Japanese surfer died after being attacked by a shark while surfing off Shelley Beach in Australia’s New South Wales. It’s being reported that the shark inflicted severe injuries to the surfer’s legs. The attacked surfer was helped to the beach by other surfers. The State of Lake Tahoe Report 2014: Low Lake Levels, Clarity Remains 75-feet, Temps Go Up… UC Davis just released their annual “State of the Lake Report.” This report speaks to Tahoe’s clarity, temperature, deep mixing, algae, future, and more. Here are some of the main points from the 2014 report: Lake Tahoe only rose 6 inches from spring snowmelt this year, one of the lowest rises in history.
