Spencer was born by the sea in Miami, but migrated to the mountains. He is in his second year at Colorado College in Colorado Springs, studying English and kinesiology. When class gets out, he boots over to the mountains to shoot photos, make videos, lay down deep carves on his snowboard, and jump things on his bicycle.

Trenching down Norway’s Most Scenic Fjords, by Mountain Bike

freeride

I guarantee this will be the most beautiful MTB video you’ve watched for a while.  The drone and POV footage are on point (along with the jam from Easy Giant), but the jagged sea-to-sky fjords of Geiranger take the clips to another level.  Drop Red Bull freerider and local Norwegian Mads André “Makken” Haugen into the mix, and you have yourself one […]

Oregon Opens 670 Mile Mountain Bike Trail -Across the Entire State!

Bike packing, anyone?  That answer should unequivocally be yes, as Oregon has just opened a trail running the entire state, north to south.  It’s dubbed the “Oregon Timber Trail” as an ode to the many logging roads that make this traverse possible; but don’t be fooled, for half of the route is sweet singletrack. The 668 miles is broken […]

Climbers Saved after Spending Night at 8,000 feet on a Ledge

A group of climbers sumitted the Little Sister -a peak located near Canmore, Alberta- just a little too late Saturday evening.  The skies started to darken, and with waning time, the climbers opted to rappel down familiar terrain that they had just ascended rather than trek through the rest of the route. The group decided to use a rock horn as an anchor, which […]
