Jackson Hole, WY Conditions Report + Photo Tour: Save A Horse, Ride Cowboy Powder

Today Friday Feb. 3rd was the halfway point in Jackson’s season, and they are pacing a cool 712″ inches season total. Needless to say, there have been many deep powder days this season and Thursday Feb. 2nd was one of them. Mammoth Mountain, CA Conditions Report: Soul Skiing

Mammoth was all-time last week and this week, and will be next week as well…or maybe the entire rest of the season for that matter. Since my report last week, we’ve seen a full powder cycle, with storms, crowds, delays, and ultimately, amazing powder runs reserved for the midweek skiers. California Storms Leave Trail of Carnage On The Coast

This past week, California saw three huge storms roll in off the Pacific, with the third and final in the series leaving a trail of carnage in its wake. Precipitation records were shattered, rivers overflowed, the mountains received tremendous amounts of snowfall, and massive waves claimed at least four lives in the Pacific Ocean. Mammoth Mountain, CA, Conditions Report: In A Word…ALL-TIME

Thursday Jan. 19th was all-time at Mammoth Mountain in the Eastern Sierra. Mammoth reported the most snow, with 30″ at the top, in the world today – no other lift-accessed location received more. Better yet were the clear conditions early on, the heavy snow in the afternoon, and the fact that a fairly large portion of the mountain was actually open. Everything except […]
