ON3P Jeffrey 122 Ski Review The ON3P Jeffrey 122 is the ultimate soft snow ski! I skied this ski everyday for the last seven weeks in Japan, and it handles bottomless snow with grace and stability. The tip and tail are playful, making the ski easy to maneuver in tight trees. The 50cm of rocker in the tip allow for effortless flotation in everything from deep blower snow to hot, heavy pow. Additionally, ON3P makes very durable, heavy-duty skis. I somehow managed to take the Jeffrey 122 over plenty of exposed rocks, resulting in very little base damage. If you are looking for an everyday ski, the Jeffrey 122 might not be your best bet. The 122mm waist combined with the softer flex, make the ski mostly powder specific. Crystal Mountain Conditions Report | Corn, Chalk and Chowda Though the northwest is still hungry for more snow, the spring-like conditions at Crystal are surprisingly rad! Near the top of the resort, north-facing slopes still have some protected, chalky snow, allowing for smeary, fast turns. Once the sun heats up the steeper south-facing runs, the slush is easy to mash through and there are plenty of shrubs and rocks to jump over if that’s your thing. As always, the groomers are speedy and consistent with plenty of small rollers to pop off. Rachel Delacour | March 8, 2015 0 Comments
Crystal Mountain Conditions Report – Moguls and Spring Slush Crystal Mountain doesn’t look like it typically does in January. Last Wednesday, the bright sun illuminated a cloudless sky, and the temps rose well into the 50’s. In the shaded areas, refrozen moguls sat waiting patiently for more snow. In the sun, the snow was slushy and soft, allowing for some jibby, high-speed laps. Conditions Report Rachel Delacour | January 15, 2015 0 Comments

Crystal Mountain Weekly Report: Epic Re-Opening + 118″ of Snow Earlier this month, Crystal Mountain opened for a few days and closed soon after due to a deteriorating snowpack. A week ago, on December 22nd, Crystal was able to reopen the upper portion of the mountain, allowing hungry weekday skiers to enjoy deep, dry, bluebird powder turns. At 7am that Monday morning some evo coworkers and I left Seattle in search of hot laps and heavy snow. Conditions Report Rachel Delacour | December 29, 2014 0 Comments
Beartooth Basin, MT/WY Weekend Report: Big Mountain Slopestyle Showdown Last Saturday morning, crowds of people made their way up to Beartooth Basin in Wyoming to ski and participate in the party that was the 2014 Beartooth Summer Session. The sky was blue and a few inches of snow had fallen overnight, making the snowpack a little softer. Once the sun warmed the face of the basin the snow became heavy and slushy, with patches of ice and chunder. The inconsistent conditions presented a […] Conditions Report Rachel Delacour | June 9, 2014 0 Comments
