Music Mondays | Jet

After a brief hiatus, Music Mondays is back once again. After a long time away we want to bring you a band many of you may be familiar with, but may not know a lot of their songs, and that band is Jet. While the Aussie band Jet, out of Melbourne Australia, is well known for their hits such as “Cold Hard Bitch”, and “Are You Gonna be my Girl”, much of their catalogue is unknown to most. With great lyrics, and riffs with an old school classic rock feel, Jet is one of the best bands you will ever listen to, and one of my favorite. Jet formed in 2001 in Melbourne Australia, with Cameron Muncey as the lead guitarist, Mark Wilson on bass, and brothers Nic and Chris Cester on rhythm guitar […]

Groundwater Depletion & Mountain Building, California’s Sierra Nevada are Growing Taller Every Year

As the current drought continues to grip California and the West, water is in high demand, and groundwater is being drawn out of aquifers at substantial rates. As groundwater in California’s San Joaquin Valley continues to be pumped from the ground for agriculture and industry, it is lowering the elevation of the valley, and possibly […]

Music Mondays | Stromae

Stromae, or Paul Van Haver, is a Belgian singer-songwriter who creates exceptional music in the electronic and hip-hop genres. While all his songs are in French, if you are not familiar with the language it sounds like gibberish, however, the producing and flow of the songs still make it enjoyable, even to the untrained ear. Interesting music videos, and amazing […]
