Squaw Conditions Report: Soft Wintry Snow & Sun

After a weekend of high snow levels and a lot of rain, the last push from the storm that hit Tahoe came in a little bit colder, and ended with a decent amount of snow. Squaw reported a storm total of 2′, now while the jury is still out on whether that is true, one thing is for sure, the skiing at Squaw is killer right now. Monday saw the last push of the storm, and some cloudy skies with a bit of snow, Tuesday and Wednesday however went blue, and people got after it. Squaw Conditions Report: Skiing in the Rain

Over the last few days Tahoe finally received some precipitation as the “Atmospheric River” slammed into California. Christmas Week in Tahoe, the Best it Could Be| Squaw & Bronco

The Holidays always prove to be a busy season in Tahoe, no matter good snow or bad. This year was no exception, while the snowfall was less than desirable, the skiing was actually really good. During the holiday week, most passes at Squaw & Alpine are blacked out, but for those select few (Gold, Student…) the skiing is some of the best it will be all season.
