The Last Time Denver, CO Received A FOOT Of Snow Was 655 Days Ago

Denver’s last big snowfall, a foot, was on April 16th, 2016. Since then, snowfall has been few and far between. When it has fallen, it’s been in relatively small amounts. VIDEO: A 4-5 Week Period Of Very Snowy Conditions On Tap For Colorado

Meteorologist Chris Tomer is calling for a pattern change for Colorado in the near future. La Nina usually spikes around this time of the year and that will last for about 4-5 weeks. Throughout this time, the forecast calls for cooler temperatures and higher amounts of precipitation. This should result in some pretty desirable conditions for ski resorts.
