Olympic Snowboarder and Australian sporting icon Scotty James and singer-songwriter Chloe Stroll announced this week that they are expecting a boy. On Thursday, August 1, the married couple revealed the happy news on their personal Instagram accounts. They first announced they were expecting their first child together on June 7. Scotty and Chloe met over five years ago thanks to an introduction from Chloe’s brother, Aston Martin Formula 1 driver Lance Stroll. They were married last year on May 12, 2023, in a very high-profile, star-studded wedding in Venice, Italy.
Scotty is a global sporting icon–two Olympic medals, six X Games Gold Medals, three World Champion titles, and is the projected Gold Medal favorite at the 2026 Winter Olympics in the men’s halfpipe competition. He’s arguably the best active snowboarder in the world right now and is rewriting the action sports landscape both with his on-snow success and entrepreneurial endeavors to grow the sport internationally. Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Chloe is a songwriting force whose earnest and raw storytelling, sparkling vocals, and melancholia-laced pop reflect her life experiences and captivate audiences.
