Australia Sees Deepest Snowpack in 17 Years After 47″ Storm

Snowpacks in Australia are huge right now – up to 233cms (92″).

Some Aussie ski resorts just saw up to 120cms (47″).

Thredbo has seen 445cms (175″) of snowfall this season and they have the deepest snowpack since the year 2000.

“Our hydrographers braved the wild weather today to measure current snow depths and as expected it was DEEP! According to Weatherzone it’s the highest depth at Spencer’s Creek in 17 years and it’s much higher than the same time last season.” – Snowy Hydro, today
